Gmessenger - What is it?
Gmessenger is the Instant Messenger that I am hoping Google will create. I'm hoping Google will take the best of MSN and Yahoo (forget AOL, it's terrible) and create the ultimate Messenger and integrate it with everything Google has to offer. See This Page for my summary of the Gmessenger concept.
If you have ideas, suggestions, thoughts or whatever, comment them here and hopefully, when Google becomes aware of our blog, they will receive and impressive amount of feedback from us.

Yes, MSN is fine. Hotmail is fine too. Yahoo Search is fine. But Google is millions of times better than Yahoo Search. Gmail is millions of times better than Hotmail. So Gmessenger can and will be millions of times better tha MSN Messenger. Google has a tradition of giving people what they need and being good at it.

Well, unless GMessenger is a universal client, ala Trillian, I think you're wasting your time. People will argue over which messaging *service* is best until doomsday (case in point, see previous comments). Give them a feature-rich client that they can use on *any/every* IM service & they'll flock to it!

I just got to know about Google Groups 2 (beta) and tried to find a gmessenger group.. no joy. Maybe you want to create one instead of having people to comment on your Blog? Just a thought.

the idea is simply amazing,
msn sucks.
if gmail starts, the best feature would be like gportal
where u can search, messenger, and i dont think gchat is a good idea, just messenger where u can check ur mail in it.
The idea is to simply surprise everybody with such a technology or features that everybody shifts to gmail..
if google wants, they can make everybody shift to completety from msn to google.
by making gbrowser, and gchat.
:) less see, what google plans.
